Before starting his business in September 2006, Chris worked as a feature writer for The Journal and ICNewcastle, the paper's official website. He then worked as a specialist feature writer for the Evening Gazette in Middlesbrough. He wrote The Journal's best-selling supplement “Do You Remember” and the Gazette's regular, flagship special supplement "Remember When". In 2006 Chris' work was short-listed for an award for excellence in journalism.
